- Only for trying the ecosystem or occasional payments. It pays no cashback.
The advertised rate is not the whole story. We count cashback, fees, staking, subscriptions and caps so you see the real result.
The path to the referral bonus and a cashback card has five steps. Two are mandatory, the rest is up to you.
Create a Crypto.com app account via the referral link.
Complete identity verification.
Buy or sell crypto in the app. The reward grows with volume.
Optionally stake CRO or pay for the annual Level Up Pro plan.
Pick the tier by how much you actually spend on the card — not by the highest percentage.
Enter how much you spend on the card and see what is actually left after the subscription, cap and fees.
At this monthly spend the estimated net benefit is roughly €80.10 per year.
| Cashback after cap | exact fee | +€10.00 |
| Subscription | exact fee | -€3.32 |

One tier, three ways to get it: monthly, annually or by locking up CRO. Prices and caps come from the official pages.

Break-even is the spend at which cashback covers the price of the tier. Below it the card loses you money, above it you gain — up to the cap.
| Tier / card | Monthly | Annual | CRO lockup |
|---|---|---|---|
| Plus · Ruby Steel | €200 / month | €170 / month | €60 / month |
| Pro · Jade Green / Royal Indigo | €835 / month | €695 / month | €375 / month |
| Private · Icy White / Rose Gold | — | — | €2,815 / month |
Pro returns more than Plus (both annual) from roughly €1,305 a month.
Excluding rebates and one-off fees. For CRO lockups we deduct a 3% p.a. foregone return; the staking yield on locked CRO is not counted (it is paid in CRO and carries price risk).
Advertised cashback is the percentage from the ad. Effective cashback is the same percentage after everything that reduces it. For Plus with €300 of monthly spend the advertised cashback is 2%, the effective rate on the annual plan 0.89%. That difference is the whole story of this site.
= net annual benefit
effective cashback = net annual benefit ÷ annual card spend
Short and without marketing.
For trading activity within 30 days of KYC approval: up to $50–$75 depending on your country of residence (Tier 1 countries such as Germany or Austria: $5 / $15 / $25 / $75 at $100 / $500 / $1,000 / $5,000 of volume; Tier 2 up to $65; Tier 3 and 4 up to $50), plus $25 for Level Up. In total up to $75–$100, paid in CRO. The referrer receives the same amount.
No. Without trading activity you get nothing. Without a CRO stake or the annual Level Up Pro plan you do not get the $25. The maximum requires $5,000 of trading volume within 30 days plus Level Up — a real commitment, not a gift.
When KYC is approved, not at sign-up. The window ends exactly 30 days later at the same hour. A common mistake: people count from account creation and miss a milestone.
Crypto.com's membership programme. The plan (Plus, Pro, Private) determines the card tier, cashback rate, cap and benefits. You pay monthly, annually or by locking CRO for 12 months.
No. Plus and Pro can both be paid by subscription without CRO. Locking CRO is an alternative — no monthly fee, but with token price risk and a foregone return on the capital. The calculator compares both routes.
Yes. Plus costs €3.99 a month or €39.90 a year, Pro €24.99 a month or €249.90 a year. Card issuance is free with annual Plus and €24.99 with monthly Plus. The $25 referral Level Up bonus, however, requires a CRO stake or annual Pro — monthly Plus is not enough.
In the CRO token, credited to the crypto wallet in the app. Its value follows the CRO price — it can rise or fall. If you want euros, you have to sell it (a spread applies).
Yes. Plus is capped at $25 a month (roughly $1,250 of spend), Pro at $75 (roughly $2,500). Private tiers have no cap. Above the cap, extra spend earns nothing — which is why large spenders should re-run the numbers for a higher tier.
The card's net annual benefit divided by annual spend. From the advertised cashback we deduct the subscription, one-off fees, foreign currency fees, the cap and the foregone return on locked capital; we add measurable benefits. The methodology has its own page.
Pro beats Plus from roughly €1,300 of monthly spend (both on annual plans). Below that, Plus yields a higher net benefit even though Pro has the higher percentage — the difference in price is bigger than the difference in cashback. The calculator shows the exact threshold for your numbers.
Cashback is paid in CRO, so the value of the reward moves with the token. With a CRO lockup the locked capital moves too — a price drop can wipe out several years of cashback. The calculator does not model this risk; treat it as a separate investment decision.
No. CashbackCard.vip is an independent information and comparison project. Crypto.com is the first provider whose card we analyse; more cards will follow. If you use our referral link, we may receive a bonus once the conditions are met.
Check the numbers in the calculator first. If they make sense, continue to Crypto.com.
